Aloha!
I’m Chascity and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Associate in Washington State. I previously worked with children, adolescents, families, and individuals in outpatient counseling, schools, residential treatment, and in the medical setting. I currently specialize in supporting young adults, women, and individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, adjustment issues (ie entering college, adulthood, etc.), parenting, family issues, relationships, and self-esteem.
Growing up in Hawaii and being multiethnic has given me a deep appreciation for many cultures and perspectives. As a therapist, I aim to create a safe space where you can explore your own culture(s), beliefs, and identity. My goal is to help you feel truly seen, heard, and understood as you navigate your counseling journey.
I strive to create an atmosphere that feels like talking with a close friend– someone who listens intently, without judgment, and with deep empathy. My approach is relaxed and conversational, allowing clients to explore their thoughts and emotions. I also believe in growth and healing, which means I don’t shy away from challenging or uncomfortable topics. I gently encourage my clients to explore difficult feelings, thoughts, and experiences, while helping them navigate these areas with care and compassion. My goal is to offer a balance between being a supportive, grounding presence and facilitating meaningful insight and change.
Faith is a big part of my life, and I recognize that it naturally shapes how I view the world. I deeply value the diverse backgrounds and beliefs each person brings to the counseling space. Whether faith is central to your life, something you’re exploring, or not part of your journey at all—you are welcome here!
I am not a faith-based or Christian-based counselor. However, if faith or spirituality is a source of strength for you, I’m honored to integrate that into our work together in a way that aligns with your values. And if it’s not something you wish to explore in counseling, that is completely respected.
My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and care—honoring your story, your voice, and your cultural or spiritual identity.
